Following one of the deadliest outbreaks of the Ebola virus in history the medical community has had to change the way it approaches such emergencies to ensure public health and safety going forward.

Navy Lt. Cmdr. Damian Storz From Walter Reed National Military Medical Center discussed ways the country's military has prepared for such an emergency during a recent interview with MD Magainze. Storz said one of the biggest changes came in the creation of a biocontainment unit at the institution.
