Q&A With Alex Thompson From St. Vincent's Hospital: Developing New Treatments For Genotype 3 Hepatitis C Patients

It may be the second most common genotype of hepatitis C but for patients diagnosed with genotype 3 it is also proving to be considerably harder to treat than genotype 1 which has a cure rate near 90%.

Alex Thompson, MBBS, PhD, from St. Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne Australia discussed what work is being done for patients with this genotype and others for future treatment of the disease.
