With each small step made progress towards treatment and prevention of progressive multiple sclerosis creeps closer to becoming a reality, an idea which just a few years ago seemed almost inconceivable.

Alan Thompson, MD, from University College London, and a member of the Progressive Alliance discussed what the momentum built for treatment can mean for bringing patients with the debilitating condition the help they need sooner than many had ever expected during the recent ECTRIMS congress in Barcelona.
