Kathleen Tong from UC Davis Health System: Defining Heart Failure and Looking at Treatment Today

Patients diagnosed with heart failure are living longer and with a higher quality of life than ever before. These advancements have come as a result of a considerable amount of work with much more work to be done going forward.

Kathleen Tong, MD, from UC Davis Health System said that there are many things that can cause heart failure and that those causes can have a different impact on a patient's life but that many if not most patients can find thelp they need to have a higher quality of life than could have been expected just a few short years ago.
