Throughout medicine personalized care is becoming an increasing focus of the field. This is no exception for the treatment of multiple sclerosis where patients may find a medication which works for a short time before needing to find a new option.

Suhayl S. Dhib-Jalbut, MD, from Rutgers University, discussed what this approach can mean for patient care during the annual meeting of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers, in National Harbor, Maryland. The doctor noted that with no one-size-fits-all approach to treating multiple sclerosis, it is important to look at a variety of potential treatment options to help patients manage their symptoms.
