Gregory Wu From Washington University: B Cells and More In Progressive MS Treatment Development
FEBRUARY 20, 2016
As researchers focus on finding treatments for progressive multiple sclerosis there are a number of potential angles to study to find the best treatment options possible. One potential area is the role of B cells in the treatment process.
Gregory F. Wu, MD, PhD, who specializes in B cell research at Washington University in St. Louis discussed how this field can help the treatment of the condition during the annual ACTRIMS meeting in New Orleans. Wu chaired a session at the conference which focused on the treatment of primary and secondary progressive multiple sclerosis for which there are currently no FDA approved treatment methods.
