Emory Schools Awarded $5 Million Grant to Establish Children's Environmental Health Research Center
The Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and Rollins School of Public Health, along with Emory College of Arts and Sciences, and Emory School of Medicine received a $5 million grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to establish a children’s environmental health center.
Emory Team to Train First Responders in Infectious Disease Protection
Emory University School of Medicine's Department of Emergency Medicine has received a $375,000 grant to help train first responders, and workers whose jobs may expose them to infectious diseases, in ways to protect themselves and prevent the spread of disease.
