The flu season of 2014 was one of the worst in recent memory which brought up questions about the flu vaccine which patients received in order to prevent contracting the disease. The answers for those questions could provide better results in years to come.

Joshua Petrie, MPH, from the University of Michigan School of Public Health discussed the lessons learned from last year's vaccine and what work is already being done to learn from those issues to make future vaccinations more effective during ID Week in San Diego.
