Q&A With Carol Levine From United Hospital Fund: Helping Family Caregivers Through Difficult Situations

With an aging population many families are either choosing to not have the older generations go into advanced care facilities or cannot afford this expensive option. As a result they are taking on a burden unlike those seen before.

Carol Levine, Director of the Families and Healthcare Project for the United Hospital Fund said that even with the best of intentions family members need more than just a passing knowledge of their relatives' condition to help their loved ones. 




With more people serving in caregiver roles for their elderly family members there are new resources being developed to help them in this challenging period.
