As a nonprofit organization OpenBiome is becoming one of the leaders in fecal microbiota transplantation technology and also working to boost other areas of public health as well.

Majdi Osman, MD, MPH, and Zain Kassam, MD, MPH, discussed the work the group is currently doing and what work is ahead during the American College of Gastroenterology's annual meeting in Hawaii. 




Fecal microbiota treatment is a relatively new procedure but there are already new developments in the works that could help make it available to more patients in the future.
