The guy microbiome is being studied across the healthcare spectrum as more is learned about this part of a person's anatomy. What it could mean for the treatment of multiple sclerosis has yet to be determined.

Helen Tremlett, PhD, from the University of British Columbia addressed this topic and the work being done in the field during the recent ECTRIMS congress in Barcelona.
