Late Breakers Highlight Busy Time at AHA Scientific Sessions
NOVEMBER 16, 2016
The annual American Heart Association Scientific Sessions were filled with a wide range of presentations made in New Orleans. It was the late breaking news that made the most impact for those in attendance as they look to the future of cardiac care.
Frank W. Sellke, MD, from Brown University served as the program chair for the annual meeting and also moderated sessions, including one which looked at novel ways to reduce a patient's lipid level. Sellke said sessions like that are what makes the annual meeting such a success and one of the major events of the cardiac calendar throughout the year.
