Kevin Campbell from the University of North Carolina: Incorporating Social Media Into Everyday Practice

Social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter may be regularly used by patients, but some doctors have been slower to incorporate these tools into their practice.

Kevin Campbell, MD, from the University of North Carolina, discussed the importance of a social media presence for doctors during the American College of Cardiology's 65th Annual Scientific Sessions and Expo in Chicago. As technology becomes a bigger part of the medical community, Campbell said it is important for doctors to be a part of that movement so they do not get left behind.
